Hi there experts! Is there anyone who can provide me information about the Gigabyte UP7 motherboard? A comparison with UP5 in order to show the better performance of either of the motherboard will be appreciable.

Gigabyte UP7 motherboard related information and compare UP5 motherboard

 

Hi there!

The Gigabyte GA-X79S-UP5 and GA-Z77X-UP7 series uses the Intel X79 chipset in its mainboard. Both have a very good SATA and SAS connectivity. This enables the users to take advantage of the high storage capacity without using extra SATA or RAID cards. The comparison between the two boards are as follows:

GA-X79S-UP5 WIFI

  This Gigabyte board has an 8 phase VRM design.

  Mainboard is Intel X79 chipset

  It can support3D Power, 3D BIOS etc.

  It has UD5.

  It has a 3 way CrossFireX or SLI,

  It can support  8 SAS connectors,

  It has 8 DIMM slotsand 3X USB power.
