I am getting my picture in green screen Skype on Mac, while I call my friends on Skype. But when they call me back the video is resumed. So usually I am asking my friends to call me back. Please advice on how to rectify this issue of getting my picture in green screen instead of video. I am using Leopard with iMac Intel core 2.

Getting my picture in green screen Skype on Mac, while making calls

 

If you are having trouble with Skype on iMac then you can resolve this issue. Just open the Preferences and the I Sight image will appear there. You have to follow the steps:

1.    If you are in video call then hit the camera icon to turn off the camera during call.

2.    Go to Skype> Preferences> Audio/Video section

3.    Make the actual live image from the preferences pane.

You can also solve your problem by an update to Skype for Mac that would be along with Leopard’s firewall.
