Hello Experts,

I have this problem.

I build up my phone to use a Gesture Lock Screen CM9, and set it to not to show the unlock button. Now the Gesture Lock Screen isn't working, I couldn't unlock the lock screen. I think there are really ways to fix it or turn it back into default but I do not know what and how to do it.

I hope you could give me a solution, experts.

Thanks

Hi,

I suggest you to restart your phone and check whether it is working fine. If that does not help,

Try the following:

  • Remove the memory card from your phone and try the above steps.
  • Connect the phone to your computer and perform a reset on your phone. If you have installed the application to Sync your phone with PC, this could be done easily.

If the above step does not help you, please contact your phone’s support team.

Thanks and regards,

Skarbos Jay.

Hi Jesonescalo,

You may try this step.

1. Remove the battery of your phone.

2. Put the battery back to your phone.

3. And then, power on

4. After that, carefully trace your gesture password again.

But if that step doesn't still work for you. Try to reset your phone by installing the Cyanogenmod 9 again.

Just what you did to it before. Or you may visit this link.

Hope it helps you even a little 🙂

Hi there,

there are two possibilities that can cause the lock screen problem.

1. The registry records are somehow damaged and the kernel and therefore no bringing up the home screen.

2. Just simple cache clearing is all that is needed.

To solve No.2 (cache clearing)

1. Take out the battery

2. Pub the battery back in

3 Power on, then track your gestures carefully.

If that doesn't work you can go to the recovery menu (volume up + home button) and clear the full data swipe there.

To solve No1(damaged kernel)

There is just one method to solve this problem

1. Go to recovery mode , the full data swipe and reinstall clockwork mod 9

This guarantees you a full new OS/kernel installation.
