Hi experts, many different applications on my computer suddenly stops working and displays the error code 1058.Can anyone help me fix this issue? Help needed ASAP.
The error code 1058 occurs when a service is disabled or hardware associated with it are disabled. You can resolve it by the following procedures:
1) Open search from the start menu and search services msc.
2) Scroll down to GSService and select its properties.
3) Click on the General tab and change the startup type to Automatic from the drop down box.
4) Click on Apply and OK.
For Windows XP
1) Select services from the administrative tools in all programs.
2) Search for the required service select the properties.
3) Make sure the service is not disabled if disabled for the hardware profile change it to enable in the Logon tab.
4) Select the General tab and click on startup type.
5) Change the setting from manual to automatic and click apply.
