Is firewall Important when WPA Security exists?

Can anyone please tell me why Firewalls are important? I use router with WPA security and I think that this much security is enough for my computers and laptops, which get connected to the internet from these routers. Guys please comment, because I am thinking of installing a Firewall.

Is firewall Important when WPA Security exists?

The router has an inbuilt firewall and it is the best, which contains WPA security and it works really good, to block the outside attacks. But if your computer is affected by Malware and viruses, then there is a need to stop or block access of the Malware to use the internet and it needs outbound blocking.

Such a protection check, which program can use the network and the internet connection to connect to the outside world and can transfer data. If the user of the computer has given rights for any application to transfer data to other computers, on the network or to connect to the internet, then that application can only send data and others are blocked.

As these Malware and viruses are not able to connect to the network and the virus doesn't get transferred to other computers in the network, there is a need for an external computer firewall.

Is firewall Important when WPA Security exists?

This sounds good, so I will surely install a firewall on my laptop and also my computer, so that the other PC's on the network are safe from malware and virus attacks. Can you suggest me with some good firewalls ?

Is firewall Important when WPA Security exists?

If you are using Windows 7 operating system, then there is an inbuilt firewall but you have to turn it on.

Control Panel–>Administrative Tools–>Windows Firewall with Advanced Security.

If you are using Windows XP, then you need to install the comodo firewall. It has good features and there is a list of trusted programs in comodo firewall, for which the firewall does not block the net connection but for other unknown programs it blocks and then the user has to unblock it.

I am using Windows XP, so can you please give me the link to download comodo firewall? I want to update my computer with a firewall, so that it can be secure from the intruding attacks.
