Firebird SQL Server: An error occurred

Greetings to everybody!

I'm not so familiar with either Firebird or Magix.

I just used them because of a friendly suggestion but now it seems Magix is incompatible with the server.

Can anyone please suggest what to do next?

I'm grateful for all the help you might share.

Firebird SQL Server: An error occurred

Hi Aleijda,

The remedy to this error may be uninstalling the old version which is MEP14 and installing the new version which is MEP16. Though the installers are quite slow, you will just have to try for it is the only solution that I highly think will solve the problem that you are having.

Otherwise ensure that you avoid installing the firebird SQL server (which will be MEP16 that you are upgrading to) on an external Hard Disk Drive, because when you remove the drive then it will imply that the installed program will not be there. It is always good to install it on the primary hard disk drive that has the operating system on it.
