Fatal Error – Failed to install Adobe Flash Catalyst CS5.5

Hello all, I am having some trouble with adobe flash catalyst cs5.5. As soon as my download was complete I tried to install but the following error message showed:

– 1 fatal error(s), 0 error(s), 0 warning(s).
 
FATAL: Payload '{6B485102-4593-43F6-BA45-F14D690B0C64} Suite Shared Configuration CS5 5.0.44.0' information not found in Media_db.
 
I opened the download folder and tried running the exe. File from there but the same happened again.
 
Someone please help me solve this?

Hello Nicholas,

                       I think you download the adobe catalyst 5.5 from a reliable source.  If not I prefer to download it from the adobe official site because the file you downloaded might be a fake. Moving on if you back up your download file there is a simple solution to fix your issue. What you need to do is go to program files and rename the Adobe folder to something else. Now you can run the setup without errors.
