“Failure CV”, a common Microsoft pos credit card problem

When I process a transaction in Microsoft point of sale, I receive an error message "Failure CV". It seems this has become a common Microsoft pos credit card problem. Is there a solution for it?

“Failure CV”, a common Microsoft pos credit card problem

Generally this problem occurs because the bank service contract agreement does not have Master Card, in the accepted card range. If this problem is coming, the credit card processor is unable to process these credit card types. To fix this problem, contact your bank to add the same credit card so that issue could be resolved permanently

Hi

After surfing the web, I discover that the possible cause to this your problem is that, the payment processing data that your bank sent to you is entered incorrectly in the setup vital processing window. For instance, the V number may begin with numbers or character other than seven.

To solve this problem, I suggest you contact Vital Technical Support at 866-634-2099 to verify that the payment processing data in your Setup Vital Processing Services window match the data that they have for your store with the description of the error message that you receive when you try to process the credit card transaction.
