Failure calling PowerPoint to process presentation.

Hi,

I have been getting this error message and am unable to convert any power point presentations.  

I am hoping someone here, would be able to explain why, I am not able to complete the action. I have not made any changes on my machine.  For more information about my machine, I have Windows Vista installed and Office 2007 installed on that.

Please help.

                                                                                   MS Powerpoint Error

The above error occurred, when using MS Office 2007 version# 12.0.4518.1014.  It is due to failure calling PowerPoint to process presentation. It is unable to convert PowerPoint presentations to Illuminate Whiteboard files and that is the
reason why the presentation cannot load.

To resolve this problem, you will need to install service pack equal or higher version to your current Office 2007 SP1 version # 12.0.6211.1000.

Failure calling PowerPoint to process presentation.

There are few reasons why these errors occur. One thing to consider is, are you opening a good power point presentation file? Or does this power point presentation file was made on the higher version of Microsoft Office Power Point?

If your file is corrupted you can’t open the file sometimes you may open it but the full function doesn’t work. Sometimes files links to this presentation like images, videos and audios doesn’t work or is corrupted that leads to malfunction of your presentation file. So you need to check those files linked to your presentation and fix them.

Power point presentation files created in earlier version of Microsoft Office Power point doesn’t work when opening on the lower versions. You can open this only when the file was saved to the lower version of the power point presentation. Just save as the file then change the file type and select the version that is compatible to your application.
