Failed to start diagnostic data capture

Hello trouble shooters,

I am stuck up with error diagnostic capture; it failed to start data capture. I don’t understand what is going wrong in Multireader? After this error message I double checked the file permission it is perfect. Do I need to check the properties? Totally blank, help me to sort the problem and to find the cause of this error message. Thanks in advance.

Failed to start diagnostic data capture

Unfortunately, you did not mention the actual name of the program where the error happens. The first thing you can do is to check the properties of the file “Multireader_rdd.tmp” since it’s the one that triggered the error. Go to the location of the file, right-click on the file “Multireader_rdd.tmp”, and select Properties.

Check if the file is set to read-only. If the checkbox for Read-only is checked then you really cannot edit or modify the file because it is the file’s properties that prevent the changes from being made. You cannot modify or change the contents of the file if the read-only attribute is enabled. To allow changes to the file, uncheck the box beside Read-only and click OK. See image.

Once the read-only attribute is removed, try starting your program again and see if it works. And also, make sure you are logged in as the administrator or you are using an account with administrative privileges.
