Error while setting up Microsoft Visual Team System 2008

Hi,

Why there were errors during set-up, although the components were installed successfully but still some errors were detected?

I attached a picture of the error I've encountered.

Error while setting up Microsoft Visual Team System 2008

Hi,

I faced this problem before. The error is caused by MS Office's Info path.

This is how i fixed it.

1. Firstly, uninstall visual studio completely from your computer.

2. Then remove ms office also from your computer as the problem is caused by Infopath. If you do not want to uninstall the whole of ms office package then just uninstall Infopath. You can do this by typin "regedit" in the run dialog box and locating the following address:

 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionUninstall{30120000-00A8-0409-0000-0000000FF1CE}

3. Now install visual studio and it should work fine.

After installing visual studio successfully, you can reinstall infopath if you need it.
