Error when opening a PDF file with Acrobat Reader

Hi,

I was opening a PDF file when this error message popped to my screen, see below.  It was an attachment from the email and tried downloading it again.  It was a very important document and I had no means to contact the sender for him to resend the attachment.  Is there a workaround so I can open the file properly?

Acrobat could not open ‘Reply Envelope.pdf’ because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn’t correctly decoded.)

To create an Adobe PDF document, go to the source application. 

Then print the document to Adobe PDF.

Your downloaded PDF file might be damaged during the attachment. If you want to have the file again you need to resend the file, or you may used the available software though internet what will fix or recover corrupt PDF file. Try to use advanced PDF Repair to check and scan the PDF and recover the file as much as possible.

However some PDF recovery software demo version will not save the recovered file as PDF. You will need to order the full version of the software to have full access.

Just try to look for free full version software that will recover successful your corrupted file.

If your PDF (Portable Document File) comes from email attachment, try to download the file again, because sometimes in our download session especially large files you may receive junk trunks of the download files. This happened mostly when you have a poor internet connection. Just keep on trying re downloading the files for three times just to make sure that you are downloading correctly.

Sometimes errors do not originated from you, it might be originated from the up loader. Up loader may encounter error during the upload session without his knowledge. So if you have tried to download the PDF for three times and error still occurs ask the send to resend the file so that you may download the good file.
