Error when Installing CorelDraw X5

I have tried installing CorelDraw X5 on my computer several times, but the installation is failing.

Twice, I have downloaded the trial version of Coral Draw from the official website of Coral but I am still facing this problem. Every time the installation starts, I get the following error popping up on my screen which reads as,

CRC error: The file C:UsersA2AppDataLocalTempCorelDraw Graphics Suite X515.0.0.489CGS15Common.cab doesn’t match the file in the setup’s .cab file. The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted; contact your software vendor.

I would be really grateful to you people if you have any idea regarding why I get this error and it keeps popping up every time and give me a solution regarding how to fix it up.

I would be waiting for your replies regarding this problem.

Hi Jhon Anderson,

Some files sometimes become corrupted while you’re downloading it. Your antivirus may block some files or part of the cabinet files that may come across to them and when it happens your downloaded files become damage. You may try do disable your antivirus and do it again from the beginning. Or just try to download the same files from the other source.

Hello Jhon,

To solve the problem try the following steps:

1. First i would suggest you to scan your computer after updating your antivirus

2. Disable your antivirus when you are about to install your software

3. Try to install it in different directory.

4. Plug out your internet connection as a safety measure.

Error when Installing CorelDraw X5

Hi Jhon.

The reason of your problem could be a corrupted file in database of the downloading site itself. Try to download it from different location and after you uninstall all the parts of program that you tried to install before, install a new one. Also try to delete some remaining files before new install due to system can’t remove them correctly because installation wasn’t successful. This can be done with RegEdit or RegCleaner.
