Hello Aimusthave,

That is an error due to a compatibility issue.  It seems like you are trying to install a 64 bit version of SigmaXL while on your computer you have installed a 32 bit of version of MS Office. The two are not compatible, and therefore you will need to get a 32 bit version of SigmaXL too for it to work properly.

ERROR: The version of SigmaXL requires a 64-bit version of MS Office

 

The message says there is a compatibility problem, because your Microsoft Office is a 32-bit version while the SigmaXL is a 64-bit version. You can solve this by acquiring a SigmaXL 32-bit and everything will be ok.

ERROR: The version of SigmaXL requires a 64-bit version of MS Office

That error was triggered when you install SigmaXL because the version of Microsoft Office currently installed on your computer is 32-bit and the version of SigmaXL you are installing is 64-bit. That would really create a conflict because they both support different system architectures. To fix your problem, if you cannot replace your existing Microsoft Office with a 64-bit edition, you need to download the 32-bit version of SigmaXL.

SigmaXL is a statistical and graphical add-in for Office Excel. It is a commonly used tool for graphical and statistical data analysis and is frequently used in Six Sigma implementation and training.
