Error on Screen Resolutions with Date Card Software

My screen resolution is set to 1440×900. I am just wondering why I am prompted with an error message saying "Screen Resolutions should be at least 800×600 to use Date Card software." By the way, I clicked the OK button on the error message because it is the only active button at that time. I got this error when I am running some gaming software and after closing the burning application. And also, I started getting this error after I successfully reinstalled my Windows XP.

I am wondering why this is happening. Do you have any idea?

What the computer is doing is that it is probably checking for the known common resolutions and especially which your screen will work best with, and it seems like yours is non-standard widescreen and therefore not fit for the resolution that you have set it to use.

In order to solve that problem, I will suggest that you access the computer display settings and change the screen resolution to 800 x 600, to that you will not have to be changing it every other time you want to execute a certain application. You can occasionally be changing to 1440 x 900 in case you need to work on a document that will work best using that resolution.

Screen resolution is how you will see some graphic on your screen. You can set your screen resolution as per your requirements and as your screen supports. you need to find how much screen resolution your monitor supports and then you can fix one that best suits your requirements. The major thing here also is that what game you want to play and what is the best screen resolution for this screen. Many games supports many screen resolutions that are supported by different monitors. But mostly use 800 x 600 and 1024 x 786 which is best in the case of graphic and game.

So you can set one from them if your monitor supports these resolutions it also depend on your video card so check it also. To change screen resolution you need to right click on desktop and choose properties. Then go to settings and you will be able to change your screen resolution.
