I am Saurav, from India. I am using Microsoft Windows XP service pack 2 with adobe acrobat reader software Version 5.00. When I want to start any file with Acrobat Reader I am getting this error message. “Error Reading linearized hint data”.

According to the error message you receive when you try to open PDF files. If you are using a browser to go to a URL containing a PDF file you may encounter this problem. In order to resolve this issue please consider following these steps: Open Acrobat Reader, go to "Edit" and click preferences.
Select the option "Internet" from the table placed in the left. You will find a check box labeled "Allow Fast Web View", uncheck this box and then click OK to save your changes. Now try again and you will find your problem solved.
