An error occurred while uninstall the DAZ Studio

Hi there,

Today when I wanted to uninstall my DAZ Studio to make a new fresh install and updated version of DAZ I got this error message box and when I press the OK button it closes the uninstall process. I have Shift+Delete the folder from Program Files and when I want to install the new version it says that I have a version already installed on my PC. Can anyone help me to uninstall the previous version ? Why I couldn’t uninstall it the first time ?

Your problem highlights hat you are unable to uninstall your previous DAZ Studio version. This may occur due to corruption or damage of program or the installation is not properly completed. Well, you can uninstall your older version of DAZ Studio by following ways:
Go to your Start menu —- select Control Panel—now double click on the Add/Remove applet.
Next, find the older version of DAZ Studio in the list of your installed programs in your machine.
Select the program and click uninstall.

As, along with your program installation some registry keys and hidden files are also generated; so, make sure you also need to remove all the hidden file and related registry keys from the ‘registry’ in order to have a safe uninstall.
