Hi Experts,
Please have a look at the awful error message I received last night. It says “W: A error occurred during the signature verification. The repository is not updated, and the previous index files will be used. GPG error: http://linux.dropbox.com lucid
Release: The following signatures were invalid: NODATA 1 NODATA 2” and “W: Failed to fetch http://linux.dropbox.com/ubuntu/dists/lucid/ReleaseW: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead”.
I do not understand about the error occurred.
Please help me.

According to the error message above, there seem to be multiple files missing from your system. Try the following steps:
1. The application does not seem to have a valid signature. A valid signature is needed to run the application. The application is either not genuine or it is corrupt. So, download the original version of the application and install it on your computer.
2. The repository seems to be obsolete. So you have to update it. Visit the official website and search for updates. If you are not able to find updates then download the latest version and install it on your system.
3. The index files are not being loaded according to the error message. So make sure you check them and see whether they are updated.
This should solve your problem.
