During installation of Driver & Software Packages for Windows® 7 downloaded from the internet is thronging an error message. The error message is as follows"An error occurred during the installation. … . IS015- GetOsVersion – 1" appears

Dear RobertCBusch,

It’s a common question to most people, but you did not tell us the boot device you use when installing windows7 i.e. You may use the DVD Rom drive, Flash/USB stick or saved installation file on the hard disk. If you are using a DVD Rom drive then replace it with a new one.

The MFL-Pro Suite which shows is designed to give the greatest flexibility, functionality and enjoyment from your machine. This program is included on the product DVD-ROM and it is installed during the initial setup.

The easiest way to install is to use a USB drive/Installation file to install Windows7 which is even the fastest way to install and since it has not given you an error code, then it will work for you. I hope it will help you.
