I am trying to copy my personal folder file (.pst), but after copying, some part it stops and gives an error saying cannot copy Outlook data error cyclic redundancy check. How can I fix this problem?

This error occurs due to corruption of your personal folder file (.pst). To rectify this error check your hard disk for errors:
- In the ‘Run’ dialog box, type ‘cmd’ and click ‘OK.’
- The command prompt will open. In that, type ‘chkdsk/f’ and push enter.
- If there is NTFS file system error. Press ‘Y’ and then ‘Enter.’ After this restart your PC.
- After the above command finishes, you may close the command prompt.
- Now start the Microsoft Outlook and check if the error still exists.
If the error is there, then you will have to create your PST file again. For this:
- Open Windows Explorer and backup your PST file.
- Change the name of current PST file.
- Use the Utility Inbox Repair Tool to remove the errors.
- After this, a new personal folder is created.
