Error messages on startup in Windows 7

Hi,

 

If you have recently installed the intelliRock software on Windows 7 then you've more than likely seen a number of error messages like the one below pop up each time you start the program. What is wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Generally, when MS says Access is denied, it means your current user account is not an admin type therefore, you are not privileged to open System folders such as that you stated above. By default, files in Program Data are set to be accessed by the admin only.

To solve this issue, start the app as admin in the installation folder- the one with the .exe file extension.

If it still can't be opened, log off your current user account and log in as admin. Go to the folder where all installation components are contained. Select Properties > Security > then under Group or usernames list, select your user account, click Edit then allow full control.
