Error with the installation of Morae3.2.1

Hi fellows,

I have been recently trying to install Morae 3.2.1 on windows 7 x86. Whenever I start the installation, it starts successfully but when only 9 seconds are left an error pops up on the screen. The screenshot of the error is as follows:

Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer
 
package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as

I don’t want to install the Word 2007 plug in but my system seems interested to install it. What does this error 1722 means?

Does anybody have any idea? Please help me solve the problem.

Hello Marriane,

As the error message indicates, the error you are getting during the installation is due to a problem with the installer package you are using. It is most probably due to the following: •

The Morae 3.2.1 package may not be meant for the windows x86 version you are using. It may be a x64 version and therefore you will need to get a version that will work with x86.

The installation package may be corrupt. If that is the case also you will need to get a version that is working well. You may also just try restarting the machine and then see if the installation is successful after that.
