Error in extracting Xbox360.rar using Winrar

Hey guys, I want to extract Xbox 360 rars, the ISO appears when the extract starts, but the file is not there when it's completed. I am also getting an error message: C:UsersMarcDesktopGuitar.Hero.6.Warriors.of.Rock.XBOX360-MARVELmvl-ghwr.r71: CRC failed in mvl-ghwr.iso. The file is corrupted.
I have tried several files on 2 computers and it seems I am getting the same error using WinRAR.

Anyone have ideas on how to resolve this?

Hi Stepheen,

The damaged archive itself you have downloaded might be damaged or you have not completed downloading the whole archive. You could also try acquiring a fresh and latest copy of WinRAR and try extracting the file again.

Your antivirus tool can also be the reason since some of them has blocking feature  to prevent a certain program to work properly. Please disable the auto-protection feature of your antivirus tool.

As an alternative to WinRAR, you could also try downloading and installing 7-zip from http://www.7-zip.org/download.html . This software could also handle wide variety of files from .rar file to .iso file type.
