Error During Report Generation Occurred

Hi,

When attempting to run report templates acquired through an internet source on a computer running Office 2010 or later, you may receive a "Could not open macro storage" error during report generation. What could be the cause of this issue? Have any idea to fix this problem? Thanks.

Could not open macro storage.

Error During Report Generation Occurred

Hi Shaun,

This error is caused due to in-built protection policies in the newer version of Office. Office automatically protects you from threats coming from templates downloaded from the internet. To resolve the error, go through the below steps:

1. Go to the folder where you have saved the template and open it
2. You will see a yellow bar called Protected View
3. Click the Enable Editing button on that bar

You can now close the template and the error should not occur.
