Error in CometBird 3.6.16: ssl3.dll was not found

I am using CometBird 3.6.16 for browsing. I can use it without errors or problems.

But today, I am receiving a random error message stating that the ssl3.dll was not found so I cannot use Comet Bird.  

The error is also stating that re-installing the application may fix the problem, but I have tried for several times now to no luck.

How can I fix this?

CometBird.exe – unable To Locate Component

This application has failed to start because ssl3.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Error in CometBird 3.6.16: ssl3.dll was not found

 

This kind of problem normally occurred when we remove or uninstall any application because many applications used the same dll libraries.

 

Simply there are few solutions

 

1) Download any dll error fixer software and scan your pc and it will repaired your missing dll file. These softwares are free and easily available on internet

 

2) Download your missing dll file 'ssl3.dll'  again its free and easily available.

After installing this file unzip it to Windows system directory (Windows/System32 for Windows XP, Vista, 7 or Windows/System) then

 

i.  Press "Start" and select "Run".

ii. Type CMD and press Enter.

iii. Type regsvr32 ssl3.dll and press enter again.

Error in CometBird 3.6.16: ssl3.dll was not found

Hello Coleton,

Some important registry files used for the comet bird browser may have been interfered with corrupt influence.

Here are some suggestions of which you can try.
Run a cleaner program which will identify the registry errors and fix them, ccleaner is the recommended software for this, and you can find it and download from filehippo.com for free.

 

After you are done with fixing the registries, run comet bird.

Even now if it does not work, uninstall and do a clean installation of an updated version of comet bird. That should most probably help you
