Error Code 1317 When Starting Minecraft

Hi,

I tried to Install java for the video game Minecraft and I got this error message: Error 1317. An error occurred while attempting to make the directory C:Program FileJavajre6. I do not mate what this capital I also proved uninstalling the old Java updates I had and got this mistake message: Error 1326. Error getting file security: C: Program FilesJava Get Last Error5. I recently, purchased a new PC I have Win 7 with Google-Chrome.

 

Any help will greatly be appreciated.

Error Code 1317 When Starting Minecraft

Hello Kenny,

The error you are getting might be occurring due to compatibility issues, and therefore you will need to do the following:

• On your computer, go to start, and then locate Computer and right click on it.
• After that, click on properties.
• In the window that will open, check the specifications of your operating system.
• Is it a 32 bit or 64 bit operating system?

After you have verified the above details, you will need to check the Minecraft application and make sure that it matches the system specifications you just checked above. If it doesn't, you will have to check a setup that meets them for it to work.
