I have a game called Grand Chase. It has a specific day for upgrading. And I have made sure to update weekly on the given day. So I’m confident that this game should work properly. However, this error has occurred suddenly :

Error 72

Failed to initialize GameMon.

Please restart your computer and try again.

I did restart my pc, but the error remains. I have played this game for months before this.

Error 72, failed to Initialized GameMon?

This error could occur if your game CD is scratched or corrupted, in which case your CD reader is not able to read the disk properly. Wash your disk with liquid cleaner; then dry it completely. Now try to use it to install the game.

Another option is to install that game from a different source e. g. a flash drive. Make sure that you use a drive that has plenty of hard disk space for installation of this game. Also you can find this game on the internet.
