Hello experts,

I don’t know why I faced such an error message. Please help! This is what happens when I run the launcher:” An error (5006-0x8000ffff) has occurred while running the setup.

Please make sure you have finished any previous setup and closed other applications. If the error still occurs, please contact your vendor: LucasArts. “

An error (5006-0x8000ffff) has occurred while running the setup

Hello,

Please try running the launcher as system administrator. Such errors occur when you are not logged in as the local administrator and the current logged in user does not have the required permission to perform the operation. Alternate you can also try launch the installer as “Run as Administrator” with this option you need not logoff.

You also need to check if antivirus or any other programs is interfering with the install.
