What are the procedures involved in ensuring that the excel 2007 qc upload template fields match the ones sent to the QUality Center for testing in order to avoid confusion in the data uploaded?

Hi Chishol Mcaro,

I think you can find a better solution on the Excel to quality Center. I think you can get a better results that you desire. You just  need an add-on for your program. Just follow the instructions on the following sites: Upload Test cases from Excel to Quality Center and Data Import from Excel to Quality Center

Ensuring a match of excel 2007 qc upload template with qc fields

Hi, 

You're using excel 2007 and trying to avoid confusion associated with the data which has been uploaded for testing to the Quality Center. It's easy to resolve this problem. Please follow my instructions for resolving this problem. First of all you need to install the excel add-in for QC. Then you need to follow the following steps:-

a. Launch Quality Center

b. Click on Addins link

c. Click on More QC Addins link

d. We can go through the Guide also or this step can be skipped

e. Click on "download …" link

f. Follow the steps of installation

g. Restart the system
