English grammar correction software WhiteSmoke for Linux

Hi Abelina Sophia,

There is an alternative Grammar checking application for your Linux platform, I got this from Linux Exchange and it is called Antidote.

This is a popular software for Linux, however, the software website, https://www.antidote.info/ comes with a different Language, but do not worry.

This software is supporting many languages that can support also English language. You can download the software at the link above.

  1. AbiWord – Like Microsoft Word, this word processor includes grammar checker that is suitable for most OS which includes Linux.
  2. Language Tool – This is an easy downloadable and can be installed this on your Linux desktop.
  3. Grammar Slammer Deluxe – This grammar checker suitable for Linux, Unix and Non-Windows OS.

You can also try the online grammar tool:

  1. Spellcheckplus.com – Allows the user to check the grammar by inputting their text in this online grammar checker web page. You can simply type or paste the text you want to be checked.
  2. Language Tool's Style and Grammar Checker – This online grammar checker allows to input or paste text in their web page and they will automatically check whether you need to revise it or not.
