Email account not opening after 3 month

I have Microsoft internet explorer.

I have my email account in yahoo mail.

Due to some reasons i did not  sign in to my account to check my mail for three months.

Now when i tried to sign in it is not opening .

Why is this so?

Email account not opening after 3 month

If you have a free Yahoo mail account then it takes around 120 consecutive days of not logging in before Yahoo deactivates your account. Yahoo sets some measures prior to the deactivation of the account.

If you have committed some violations using your Yahoo mail account, the site has the right to deactivate your account earlier even if you are actively using it.

Usually, if your Yahoo account gets deactivated for some unknown reason, you can still recover it but all of the messages that were in it before can not be recovered.

Yahoo automatically deletes all the messages when deactivating an account but the contacts, if there are any, are still intact in the address book.

If you want to activate and recover your previous Yahoo mail account, try logging in and follow the messages that Yahoo will display to recover your account.
