I shared my Elance's referrals link on Google plus and three of my friends joined Elance using that Link. But the problem is when I go to the My Referrals Account in Elance and check the referrals that have registered successfully, it shows no entries. I could have get 30 Connects or 30$ but it is not showing my referrals. What is the issue?Â
I guess the real question is, if your 3 friends really used your referral link to join Elance. If one user clicks on your referral link and created an account in Elance, it should be reflected in your account and you should receive credit for it because the website tracks all the referrals.
If you didn’t received any credit let’s say for one referral though he already created an account, it is possible that after clicking on your referral link the user didn’t continue with the process and instead, open a new tab, open a new page of Elance there, and then closed the previous tab where your link supposedly is being processed.
If this happens, you will not be credited for the new account. Forgive me but I also do this whenever I encounter a referral link. Contact customer support in Elance to help you clear things up.
