Dynamic Link Media Server Not Available on Creating .GIF on Photoshop CS6

I was trying to create a .GIF file in my Photoshop CS6, in that time a pop-up window showed up and it say "Dynamic link media server is not available". Now I can't continue my work, anyone know how to solve this. I need a solution fast.

I hope someone will give me an answer.

Dynamic Link Media Server Not Available on Creating .GIF on Photoshop CS6

This is a common error when installing an incomplete or corrupted Adobe Illustrator CS5.

Here are the different causes of this problem.

1. Virus Infection.

Your File  installer might be infected by a computer virus.

2.  Incomplete Download

The installer that you downloaded is not complete.

3. File Corrupted

The installer uploaded by the user is already corrupted

Solution:

The best way to solve this problem is to download it again and reinstall the ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR CS5. Just make sure that your storage device is clean and free from any kind of viruses to avoid encountering the same error.

Hello Olivia,

The steps below will help you resolve that issue:
You will need to restart Photoshop as well as all other Adobe applications that are open on your system, and then wait 30 seconds before restarting the computer.
You will also need to make sure that the virus or control application that you have on your computer has not trapped parts of Photoshop, Bridge, Premiere or any other Adobe app using DynamicLinkMediaServer. If they have been trapped you will need to ensure the Adobe apps are added as exceptions.
Also make sure that you have got the latest version of QuickTime.

GIF is an image format that is often animated. When a GIF file is animated, it contains frames of several other images that compose the animation. It is like a mini-slideshow in a file where every slide appears after every few seconds or minutes. The mini-slideshow can be made to play in a loop making the animation play continuously or just one pass.

The message “Dynamic link media server is not available” indicates that your application is unable to connect to the server which happens when your computer is not connected to the internet. If you are using Photoshop CS6 to create a GIF file, check if you clicked a feature that requires internet connection.

If the option requires internet connection, make sure your computer is connected to the internet before using it. Otherwise, a similar error will appear. If you are not sure about the feature you used, check with the Adobe website for help or just connect your computer to the internet before using the feature.

If the feature worked after connecting to the internet then that means it is the online feature of the application. Also, try reinstalling Photoshop. If reinstalling doesn’t fix, try scanning your computer with Sophos Virus Removal Tool to check your system if it is infected.
