Does a child really need to learn about computers? What age would I allow my son to use it? what are the advantages and disadvantages of using computers to our youth?

Disadvantage and advantage of computer to our children

 

Advantages of Computer on Children:

1. Children are in touch of the latest systems which help in the long run.

2. Many Study materials are available both in form of text and animations helping them learn as they play.

3. Research says some cells of brain are excited to an extent that they increase there Intelligence.

4. In recent age they have to deal a lot with the computer facility.

Disadvantages of Computer on Children:

1. Eyesight problem is the main one.

2. Addiction to gaming is an important issue.

3. Dirty images that affect their mental growth.

4. Outdoor games are getting old enough that is a problem with physical fitness.

Disadvantage and advantage of computer to our children

You should allow your child to learn about computers because it is a necessity nowadays. Every job at present requires little knowledge about computer operation like composing a document with Microsoft Office Word or creating a worksheet using Office Excel or creating a slideshow with Microsoft Office PowerPoint. But you need to set rules when a child uses a computer.

When a child learns how to use a computer, it won’t take time before he or she learns how to play games. Because of the fancy, funny, and interesting graphics, video games or PC games can distract a child’s attention towards studying and this is not good.

This is the time when you need to set rules like when he or she can play games and when he or she cannot play games on the computer. Learning about computers is like setting a foundation for your future.
