Photoshop and illustrator are two different things with few similarities. But there is much different in both of them.

Their work is almost similar, but emphasize on different things. Like if we take Photoshop so we come to know, its basic purpose is manipulation of photos and graphics. But on the other hand illustrator is basically a drawing program, but in handling text illustrator is better than the Photoshop.

If you want to make logo in illustrator then stepwise procedure you can find on this link. Hope this link will guide you about how to make logo using illustrator and your query will resolve.

Photoshop and Illustrator are two different programs that offer very different things. Photoshop is mainly for photo manipulation but you can also do some drawing on it but it is not as good as Illustrator. Illustrator is a vector based program which allows you to draw vector items. Vector is math based and will basically allow you more freedom if you are going to create something that will need to be various sizes since vector shapes are 'math' based you won't have problems with things being pixelated when they are made larger. Most Graphic Artists use a combination of both programs, I do. I would recommend looking into getting the adobe creative suite as was recommended in your first answer as well. Also take a look at some tutorial sites for Photoshop and Illustrator and also look at books that show you how to use each program. These are professional programs that do a lot and they cost a lot of money as well but both are very, very good and are the industry standard.

Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop are two programs strongly used by artists. These two applications have a lot in common but their differences are bigger than their similarities. One of their differences is their design. Adobe Illustrator works using vectors while Adobe Photoshop is based on pixels. Adobe Photoshop is raster-based. It uses pixels to create images. It is designed for editing and creating photos or raster-based art.

When Adobe Photoshop was first developed, it was mainly for photographers. Over time, the program has evolved to help all kinds of artists to do many different kinds of work. At the moment, Adobe Photoshop is known to create interface designs, video graphics, web pages, banner ads, and the original use of editing and creating images for print.

Though Adobe Photoshop is known to be able to do so much and be so easy to learn as if it is a one stop shop, it is not the best program for all types of design and artwork. Adobe Illustrator, on the other hand, works with vectors. Vectors are points used to create perfectly smooth lines.

This application is designed for creating and editing vector-based work like graphics, logos, and other design elements. Vectors are scalable images that can be sized as small or as large as you need them to be but look the same when it comes to resolution and clarity.
