Cyclic data redundancy error is called as CDC error (Cyclic redundancy check error), and it is used to verify the data, or we can say that it is used for data verification. It is used by the computers to verify the data which is stored in the hard disk. This error occurs due to the cluttered hard disk and registry corruption.

The steps to fix this error are as follows:

• Using CHKDSK Utility

You must repair this error by running command prompt. Open command prompt by searching of CMD and click on the command prompt and run as administrator. Now, type chkdsk X: /f where x is a hard drive. Wait for a complete scan and restart your computer.

• Repair corrupted system files that cause data error.

Open the command prompt and run DISM.exe command; this will safeguard your system data, and after that type SFC /scannow and run it, this will scan your system and repair the corrupted files.
