Deskera Accounting data already present

Hello guys I’m having problem with using my Deskera Accounting software. A pop up error says

Field is blank or data already present when I add sub field. What is this error means?

I already entered data to the field. Is there something wrong with the data I entered?

Please any help?

Deskera Accounting data already present

Hi Jimmy,

This message is prompted when the name of the subfield you are trying to add already exists in the list of subfields you have created. Please provide a different name to avoid this prompt.

Hi Jimmy,

As the critical error message said, you already added a data for that particular field.

When I said: you already added, this means a transaction was committed and the field/subfield is already present in the database. In order to eliminate duplicates, this error message appear.

You must now clear the data and add another value (differed than the value added previous time)

This will fix your problem.

It’s possible that it is an automatic task for the accounting software you are using to automatically check for duplicate values on the fields added by the user. This is great since this would eliminate the chance of having duplicate entries in your database. Just try changing the value. If you still can’t enter any data on the field and still getting that error, check the field again if there is indeed a value already entered.

If you are sure that there is nothing in there and still you are getting that message, try deleting the Sub Field and then create a new one. Enter the correct value again on the newly created field. If you are still getting the error message for no reason, try reinstalling the software to possibly fix any installation errors.
