The age of empires ll is developed by ensemble studios and published by the Microsoft released in 1999. It is designed by Bruce Shelly and programmed by Angelo Laudon. The game has set in the middle ages; players use to build towns, create armies, and defeat their enemies. There are an additional three single-player modes, and it also supports multiplayer gameplay.

The selling of this game has broken several records, and the reception of the game is positive. Within three months of release, the game has sold up to two million copies of the game. In April 2013, the HD version of the game was released by Microsoft, and it is released on the digital stream distribution.
