DAZ Studio installation error occurred

Hello Tech Ally,

When I try to install DAZ Studio in Windows 64 bit operating system I ended up with an error message. I think there is something terribly wrong with the system or with the installation files. I am getting a different error image at different point of installation when I tried to reinstall it. How do I fix the missing dll file in the concerned folder? I tried to trap the error, but I can’t. I have attached the error images please help me. Thanks in advance.

I’ve also encountered this with this computer I’m fixing right now in my place. We only differ in the DLL file mentioned in the error message because we are both installing different applications. In my case I am installing Opera browser on a very problematic PC. When I install it, after I run the installer it throws back an error while unpacking the package saying that it can’t find a particular DLL file but when I check the contents of the EXE installer using 7-Zip, the missing DLL file is actually there.

So that’s really puzzling for me. In your case, make sure you are installing or you are running the right version of the installer because you are running x64 Microsoft Windows XP and your installer supposedly should be x64 also. There is actually no problem with the compatibility of DAZ Studio Pro over your operating system because it supports Windows NT Service Pack 6, Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 and up, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

I think my hunch is right that you are installing the incorrect version of DAZ Studio Pro because your attached image shows “DAZStudio_4.5.1.6_Win32” installer and win32 installers should be installed and started on x86 operating systems. Check with the DAZ Studio official website if there is an available 64-bit installer because this is the suitable version for your operating system.
