This problem usually occur in error at your Microsoft DirectX. First is to restart your computer, the error may be a one time problem and possible a simple restart could clear it up completely. If it still occurs you need to install the latest version of you DirectX. Google is you friend. If after the installation of Direct x and you still have the error, try to uninstall the software you installed in your computer which the error occurs. If still not solve the error, you need to update your drivers and most of the times updating your drivers could correct your DirectX error.

• Microsoft DirectX 9.0c End-User Runtime – this Microsoft DirectX update is intended for Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows Server 2003. This downloads the web installer. If you want the offline installer, download this Microsoft DirectX 9.0c (June 10) on FileHippo.
• Microsoft DirectX 10 – this version is included in Windows Vista and there is no offline update package for this version. To update, install the latest Service Pack for Windows Vista.
• Microsoft DirectX 10.1 – this version is included in Windows Vista Service Pack 1 and Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 1.
