Hi,

I have developed a website and ready to launch, before launching the website i would like to add a Guest Book on my website. Please help with .NET script to integrate into my website?

Creating a Guest Book on my Website

Hello,

You want to release a new web site with guestbook feature. So I hope my bellows instruction will help you to make it easily.

• At first download bellows Guestbook.txt file and then open it in notepad or WordPad. Then edit code if you want any change in default settings.
• After complete editing you should upload it to the server hosting as example.asp.asp format.
• You should create more two files as the name of “guestbook.htm” and “guestbook.log”.
• You should put “1” in guestbook.log file.
• Then upload these files to your hosting server once again.

Remember that your guestbook will show in https://www.1and1.com/

Creating a Guest Book on my Website

If you want to have a guestbook on your website and you want to include it when you launch the site, there are actually different websites that offer free guestbook scripts with easy installation procedures though most of them require that you have a hosting site that supports PHP or else the script will not work.

One example of a free guestbook is Brolmo. It offers a free guestbook application that can easily be installed on your website and without any programming skills required. You can handle all website postings and comments using the Brolmo guestbook. To use this, you need to visit the site and create an account.

After that, you only need to insert a small piece of HTML code into your webpage and the guestbook application will appear. The Brolmo guestbook is installed on a remote server and is completely managed by Stivasoft. For more information on Brolmo guestbook, visit Brolmo Free Guestbook. I don’t think Brolmo requires that your hosting provider supports PHP since you only need to insert an HTML code into your page.
