Hi, my name is Ranjan from Gujrat. I want to create a clone. How can I do it using a clone virtual machine wizard? Thanks in advance for the help.

create a clone using the Clone Virtual Machine Wizard:

To choose the virtual machine which you want to duplicate. Please follow the steps

1. in the favorite list of your PC please enter the name of a virtual machine.
2. Click next after opening the Clove virtual machine wizard.
3. Choose the state of the parent from which cloning will take place. and click Next.       
4. Please choose the type of duplicate you want to ake and then click next.                       

You can either decide to make a full clone or a linked clone.

 

1. Click finish after entering a name and pathway for cloning.

 

The original virtual machine name and location bases the default name and path. You can enter a new name and path, or use the Browse button to discover an inventory for the cloned files.

 

Click finish after verifying all your entries. Now the Clone Virtual Machine Wizard will start displaying a status page.

The process to create a full clone can take time.

6. To close Clone virtual machine wizard click on done option.
