Hi expert, I need a help. My friend sends an essay in pdf format. He did not count the words of the essay. Now I want to count the words in that essay. Is there any specific option to count the words? If you know please provide the ideas. Thank you.

Count the words in PDF format

Hi Lori,

There are some online sites to count the number of words that supports many file formats such as PDF, Word documents, HTML, XML.

You can upload the file in this website and click on count button. The generated result shows you the word count of your essay.

Count the words in PDF format

Hi Lori,

There is one free tool online that you can use immediately and the results in seconds.  It also has an option if you do not want the numbers to be counted. Follow the steps below:

1.   Go to http://www.montereylanguages.com/pdf-word-count-online-free-tool.html
2.   Browse the PDF file that you want  to be counted
3.   Type the security code given
4.   And then hit count
