I have great graphics made by my sister-in-law but were saved in PA extension. I guess these are Print Artist files. Could I convert the files in PA to MIDI? What software could I use? Thanks!

For graphics, you’d actually want to convert the PA files to PDF or JPEG.  A MIDI file is essentially electronic music, and wouldn’t work for a Print Artist file.

To convert a PA file to PDF, you need to open the document on Print Artist, select “File” “Print”, and there will be a drop down menu that shows all the available printers.  From this menu, select the virtual PDF printer (it should be called something like “Adobe PDF”, “Cute PDF”, or “PDFCreator”).  Click the “Print” button, type in the desired file name, and click “Save.”

From this PDF, you can create a JPEG.  To do this, launch Acrobat and open the PDF.  Select “Document”, “Crop Pages”.  There will be a box that says “Remove White Margins”, check this box, and under the “Page Range” section of the dialog window, select “All.”  Click “OK”, and this will remove the white border around each page.  Select “File”, “Export”, and choose “Image” then “JPEG.”  Type in the desired file name and hit “Save.”
