Control panel password reset problem

Hi There!

I cannot reset user account password of my office computer?

When I enter correct password then that computer says it is wrong.

So I am very anxious about my corrupted password.

 I need help about this situation. If I reinstall windows then some data will be lost from desktop.

Please provide me one good answer.

Control panel password reset problem

I am not quite sure whether you are in a domain or not to give an exact answer. If you are in a domain at the office, easily you can ask the system administrator to reset the password.

If you have logged into the machine locally (domain name ‘this computer’) you can rest the password through admin login. Once you login to the machine, you can rest the old password, which you have put earlier.

However, if you re having an administrative account and forget the admin pass word at a situation when there is no any other user account, you re in a critical situation. Then the only option is to format the machine
