Connect my laptop or iPad on the Internet of my 4G device

Hello experts,

If I buy a smartphone that is 4G capable and Wi-Fi supported, can I use the Wi-Fi on my laptop or iPad? Or do I need to ask my provider to set it up? Assuming I have a data plan on my mobile phone and I want to use the Wi-Fi on it so my laptop or iPad can connect on my 4G device, is that possible? I think they called it as a mobile hotspot where you will use your device to create a hotspot. Can you give me some ideas?

According to some of the Smartphones web sites especially the famous ones ( Android and Apple), the WiFi is contributing service is able to deliver a WiFi connection to any device that can connect to WiFi net under certain terms:

1. Your host devises (Tablet in your case) must acquire a network connection with a cell phone company in order to deliver the internet feed through the WiFi. In other words you must have a Sim card in your Tablet or Smartphone with credit in it.

2. Your host devises can only deliver a limited amount of connection speed and to a limited amount of other devices ( this depends on the brand and the specifics of the Tablet or Smartphone).
