Computer speaker has no sound

Hi There!

I use creative 2 way multimedia speaker for sound device in my personal computer. I newly installed my operating system. I install all drivers software.

But after installing new operating system my windows does not detect my creative multimedia speaker. I tried to solve this issue in many time. But it has no sound. My speaker is well and has no problem.

So give me a suggestion about this issue.

Computer speaker has no sound

Hi,

Ok, your speaker has no sound after reinstalling windows, right? This often caused by software driver and or the speaker itself. I'll give you tips to solve this problem.

1. Check wires if the speaker is properly connected to your computer sound card.
2. If you have another computer, you may test the speaker if it works fine using another device.
3. You need CD driver to re-install Audio in your computer.

• Go to Start, and right click My computer then choose properties.
• Click on Device Manager and look for Sound, Video and Game controllers section of Device Manager and click on the + sign.
• Right click on the sound card and install the driver labeled as High Definition Audio Device, Realtek AC'97 then remove this.
• Restart your computer and the driver will auto-reinstall.

Computer speaker has no sound

• Your computer sound system doesn’t work because there where no installed audio devices as I can see on the snap shoot you have posted. It says no Audio Device.
• If it is true that you have installed the driver of your devices, it is important to know what kind and version of your operating system installed. There are driver that is not compatible to other versions of operating system. Most of the time driver for windows XP doesn’t work on windows 7.
• Check your driver’s compatibility. If the driver is for windows XP and your operating system install is windows 7, find a compatible driver for your device that runs on windows 7.
