Why is that my computer is shutting down after my friend installed the Windows 7? I have my Antec 650w True Power supply. And I’m always making an monitor to the watts and they’re all stable. And the temperatures are all fine. Does the RAM that I bought is the reason why my computer is shutting down? For now, I am recently getting an HD4850.

Did you do a RAM upgrade? Because if you did and you did not fix the RAM properly then that is one possible cause of the error. You will therefore need to open the system unit, unplug the RAM chip with a lot of care, and then plug it again. You will need to make sure that the RAM chip is tight fit in the slot and the clips that hold it are properly locked. Before you start opening the system unit, you will need to make sure that you have turned the computer off completely, and that you have disconnected it from the power supply completely.
