Compatibility Issue with AVG File Server Edition 2012

I was downloading AVG File Server Edition 2012 Trial when I got an error "AVG 2012 Not Supported on this operating system". I am running Windows Server 2003. Is it compatible or not? What are the requirements needed?

Compatibility Issue with AVG File Server Edition 2012

 

Hello,

AVG File Server Edition 2012 software is compatible with Windows Server 2003. The minimum requirements are

1. Processor – Intel Pentium 1.5 GHz

2. Memory – 512 MB of RAM

3. Hard disk free space – 1000 MB

It is recommended to run the software on systems running with;

1. Processor – Intel Pentium 1.8 GHz

2. Memory – 1 GB of RAM

3. Hard disk free space – 1450 MB

Sometimes the error "AVG 2012 Not Supported on this operating system" pops out if you upgraded your system from a not supported OS to Windows Server 2003. Try to update to the latest Service Pack this sometimes fix this error.

Hi,

Below are the required details.

1. AVG Server 2012 support for Windows 2003 Server and it’s 64 bit & Service pack 1, Windows 2008 Server and it’s 64 bit or higher versions. Also, MS share point 2003, MS share point 2007, MS share point 2010 file server versions are supported.

2.The minimum hardware requirements for AVG server 2012. Intel Pentium CPU 1.8 GHz, 512 MB RAM , 600 MB free space.
