I am facing a lot of pain with the print drivers of citrix. My friend told me the universal print driver will solve problems. Is the citrix universal print driver better than the normal one? If so, how?

Is The Citrix Universal Print Driver Better Than The Normal One?

The main problem faced with print drivers in citrix environments is that they don’t work well in adapting to the citrix environment and show compatibility issues. Thus, the citrix universal print driver definitely solves this and saves a lot of time. It does this because the universal printer is not tied to one specific printer, as are the normal printers.

It actually uses an auto created printer object and thus is available in all sessions of the client on which it has been implemented.
